Sunday Mornings at 10am

Lighthouse Kids is the Sunday morning church experience for the children of First Light. This program is for the entire duration of the regular church service, from 10:00 am - approximately 11:15 am. You can start checking the kids in at 9:45.

LIGHTHOUSE PRE-K meets in room 219 and is for preschool children ages 2, 3 and 4. Our preschool teachers will lovingly teach them about Jesus using songs, games, and crafts while also caring for the children’s specific developmental needs (like diapering, potty-training, and TLC).

LIGHTHOUSE KIDS takes place in the gym and the North Wing. Lighthouse Kids is for children from kindergarten through 5th grade. We play games, worship God, learn how to apply Bible stories to our lives, make crafts and do other experiments, and grow in our faith in Jesus! Fifth Sundays of the month (when they happen) are Family Service Sundays. Lighthouse Kids in elementary grades will be with their families for the whole service on those days.

LIGHTHOUSE NURSERY is staffed with devoted, experienced caregivers who love the “under-2s”! The nursery is in the North Wing and is open from 9:45-11:30 am. Parents can be assured that their child’s needs will be met for the duration of the service. There is also ample seating for mamas who want a quiet space to nurse during the service. The service is streamed on our monitor in real time!

Fifth Sunday Family Service

In an effort to expose our kids to more regular worship experiences, Lighthouse Kids Elementary ages will be sitting with their families for the entire service on the fifth Sundays of five-Sunday months. To help families with children in the sanctuary on Sundays, Sanctuary Bags will be made available in the back. The bags will include activities to engage young minds and help them participate in the service. This is a tool and a resource for families to enjoy during worship.
